One of the coolest things about the Glock platform is that it comes in so many practical defensive calibers. From its humble beginnings in the Glock 17, to the Practical-Tactical offerings like the Glock 34 (Both are 9mm offerings and also take the same magazines, btw), Glock has "come a long way, baby." With three generations to choose from, and the following calibers currently available: 9mm, .40 S&W, .45acp, 10mm Auto, .357 Sig, and .45gap, there's a flavor of Glock Perfection for pretty much everyone. They come in fullsize, compact, and subcompact as well (For instance, the G17, G19, G26), and the magazines are downward compatible (The G17 mag will fit the 19 and the 26, the 19 mag will fit the 26), so multiple firearms fed from a single magazine supply (as long as they are the full size mags) is logistically possible. It's also dirt-simple reliable, and maintenance needs are few. Glocks are my "Daily Carry" guns for a reason: They work. And yes, there is also one in my BoB.
